Can you do both All Star and School cheerleading?

I want to do All Star cheerleading (I have done cheerleading for 2 yrs and have my RO BHS Full twist, I just haven’t done all star cause I live in Australia but I am moving next year) but I also want to have the whole experience at cheering at football games and such. Is it possible to do both, even if your school team does competitions aswell
?

Yeah, sure, definitely, whatever you want.
I know many people who do both, but a few say its way too stressful for them.
But for you i totally think you could handle it like you know cheerleading is your life, you so fully love it!

Just a pointer, you’ll probs be hell busy all the time so you may not have time to watch like patrick dempsey, especially around competition times!
And if your heaps busy when do you think you will find the time to talk to me, cos im seriously going to be missin’ you!

Good Luck sexy bexy!
I know you can do it!

p.s remember all those best answers i gave you when your account was deleted!?!?

I know a lot of girls who do All Star and school cheer, and their school teams compete as well. But yeah, they’re pretty busy! And sometimes it gets crazy. Our school team has a competition coming up in California – we compete on Saturday, and then five of the girls have to catch a plane to Florida that night so they can compete with their All Star team on Sunday! Yikes! But they love it, and that’s what they want to do, so they make it work.

If you do both, just plan on being really busy all the time – especially around competition time. If you enjoy it, that’s not a problem. I think what makes it stressful is when there are conflicts between school and All Star, and you have to decide which event to miss. And of course both teams want you there, so you feel a lot of pressure and guilt either way. So it works best if both teams/coaches are willing to compromise and let you miss a practice or game here and there without making you feel terrible about it.

I say give it a try! If it’s too much, or too stressful, you don’t have to do again the next year. But give it a shot and see how it goes! Good luck!

Absolutely! There are thousands of cheerleaders that cheer for their school team as well as a competitive All Star team. I was one of them when I was in HS. I cheered for my high school as well as my All Star team. However, you have to be honest with your coaches to ensure that your schedules don’t conflict with each other because the minute your All Star practice or comp. prevents you from cheering at a football game, you may be forced to make a decision on which team you want to stay on most. But, just do what you have to in order to make it work! It’s so possible!

    Hope this helps :-D

it depends on the school and all star program. i did it for 2 years. the 1st year was easy because my as coach and my hs coach where the same. but it became more tough when we got a new coach. but my high school is also very competitive (compete at both uca and usa nationals) if both coaches are flexible it is easy and worth it!

    i loved doing both!
