Cheerleaders: All star or school cheerleading?

I'm going to college in the fall, and they will be having cheerleading tryouts in the beginning of December. Of course, there is always a chance I won't make it. Should I do all star cheerleading this upcoming year and try out for the college squad next year?

I can't decide what to do. If I want to be an all star cheerleader I have to start soon, so what do you guys think? Thanks everyone!

i say try do all star cheerleading this upcoming year and try out for the college squad next year it sounds good to meand i'm pretty sure youll make the team if you practice alot

  3. all star.
college cheerleading is a lot more complicated. you have to attend games and practices and pep rallies. the tryouts normally require extensive tumbling skills and stuff. college cheer definately requires more dedication. it may interfere with your studies. you will leave for an away game. and then get back and maybe not even sleep for the next day of classes.

i have over 10 years of cheerleading experience in both school and allstar. i am in my final year in high school. if i were to choose between college cheerleading and allstars i would say allstars 100% that is just my opinion.
