Cheerleading is indeed a sport and is finally starting to get some recognition for all of the hard work, athleticism and injuries that our ATHLETES endure while training for competition. If only the other athletes would recognize our efforts.

Kinda funny that your archives list posts from January 1970 – I didn’t think there were blogs around back then…

Well Level 1 is basicly nothing cause thats when you learn the basics.
Level 2 – Back Handspring
Level 3 – a running backtuck
Level 4 – Standing Backtuck and Lay Out
Level 5 – Toe Back and a Full

yes you can.
i was a flier once when i cheered.
i was chosen to be the flyer because i trusted my team mates to catch mee. you have to REALLY trust them. you cant be all scared.
and i was the lightest one on the squad. so yeah i think u can be a flier. you have to work hard though and practice.

if anyone watches …
if anyone watches this and still thinks cheerleading is not a sport ur CRAZY! i mean think about it…. in football they throw balls in cheerleading we throw girls!
